A MESSAGE FROM JOE

It’s hard to believe that this is the tenth edition of Naughty… but Nice! When we started out in 2014, I would never have predicted that we’d become a holiday tradition for so many people. So, it’s a little bittersweet that this is the last time we’ll get to share these songs with you, although the show will live on through the cast album and videos we made!

As Forte explores other holiday projects, I want to take this opportunity to thank JP Thibodeau for co-creating the show with me and returning to direct every year since we started.  Also, our naughty holiday musical would never have lasted ten years without the contributions of my fellow composers but, especially, Dan Perrott, who’s been with us from the beginning and always delights audiences with his catchy tunes and hilarious lyrics.

Our founding choreographer, Lauren Thompson, put her distinctive stamp on the show and Danielle Desmarais has both honoured Lauren’s original choreography and brought her own creativity to bear over the last few years.

It takes an army to make a show like this happen and it would be impossible without all the actors, stage managers, designers and technicians that bring everything to life. If you’re one of the almost one hundred different people that have worked on the various versions of Naughty… but Nice, thank you!

And finally, thank you, our audience, for supporting us over the past ten years. It’s been both an honour and great fun to share these songs with you and I hope to see you next year at Forte’s next holiday show!
