Call for Board Members

Forte Musical Theatre Guild (Forte) is a non-profit organization on the leading edge of musical theatre in Canada. We are the only professional theatre company west of Toronto dedicated exclusively to new musicals and, with our stable of established and emerging artists, we create engaging and intimate evenings of award-winning entertainment. Funny, cheeky and sometimes subversive, Forte's shows leave you with a tune in your heart and a smile on your face.

Forte is looking for creative, committed, and enthusiastic people to join its board of directors. No formal board experience is necessary, just a love of the arts and a passion for serving the community. Experience in communication, social media or fundraising/sponsorship would be an asset.

Forte is a working board whose board members are actively engaged with all aspects of the organization. Time commitment would include attending monthly board meetings (currently via Zoom) and an additional 2-4 hours per month to participate in board initiatives. We are looking for individuals who are willing to invest their time and talents to Forte on along term basis (min. 2 years) as we continue to grow as an organization.
